Transferring domains to D Sites from a different registrar is simple. Follow the steps below or check out our step-by-step Help article for detailed instructions.

1. Unlock the Domain Name: Unlock the domain name you'd like to transfer from your current domain registrar.
2. Obtain an Authorization Code: Get an authorization code (also known as an EPP code or transfer key) from your current registrar. If the authorization code isn't shown in your account dashboard or control panel, ask your current registrar to email it to you. Note: The authorization code isn't necessary in all cases, such as when transferring country-code domains (ccTLDs).
3. Verify Contact Information: Verify the contact information associated with your domain name. Confirming your contact information ensures that you receive any communications sent by your current registrar during the domain transfer process.
4. Bulk Domain Transfer: You can transfer up to 500 domains to D Sites at once using our bulk domain transfer tool. If the extension you'd like to transfer isn't listed, you can't transfer that domain name to us.

When you transfer a domain, only the domain moves to D Sites. Other services you may have that interact with the domain, like email or hosting, do not move unless you decide to transfer them to D Sites as well.

Domains can be transferred almost any time. However, ICANN prohibits domain transfers within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer (except for .au domains). This policy is enforced by ICANN.

Please note there are special instructions for transferring .uk, .ca, .eu, .es, .se, and .au domain names to D Sites.

Transferring a domain to D Sites costs may vary depending on the selected domain extension. Upon the expiration of your domain, you will be charged annually to maintain the domain at the then-current annual retail price applicable to the domain.
